Jimmy was born in 1979 and lives with his wife Saskia and two teenage sons in Heusden-Zolder, Limburg.

He works as an IT manager, has a keen interest in exciting stories—both on paper and on screen—and loves good food and drinks. You will certainly find these themes in his books.

As an avid reader of thrillers, horror, and science fiction stories, with favorite authors including Stephen King, Dean Koontz, David Baldacci, and Tess Gerritsen, he strives to bring the same tension and pace to his stories, making it difficult to put the book down. This is interspersed with depth in the characters: personal tragedies that may or may not befall them, pain and loss, betrayal and friendship. A good story should be able to touch the reader in different ways.

His debut thriller OOGGETUIGE ('Through his eyes') (March 2022) was well received and left readers wanting more. A second thriller, UITVERKORENEN ('The chosen ones'), followed in March 2024, and a third in February 2025, called PRIMEUR ('Scoop').

He also writes short stories and novellas. His short story DE MEERMIN won the writing competition organized by Moonreaders publishing house and can be read in the collection of stories HORRORTIME.

A fourth thriller, SPIEGELBEELD ('Reflection'), is expected at the end of February 2026.
